LifePath Unlimited Mistakes to Avoid
Mistakes I Made With LifePath Unlimited (And Tips To Avoid Them!)
When I finally discovered LifePath Unlimited, the home based business that would allow me to stay at home with my children, go to the gym during the day and put washing on the line and bring it in before it went cold I was excited! When I found the business that would allow me to have the flexibility and freedom to do what I want, whenever I want, I was so inspired! When I found LifePath Unlimited and it’s income potential I couldn’t wait to get started! I was busting to just ‘make it happen’ and the sooner the better!
Then, like perhaps many entrepreneurs on their road to success, I made 3 BIG MISTAKES! Feel free to make these mistakes too and slowly and painfully learn from them like I did OR just take a short-cut and keep reading!
My LifePath Unlimited Mistake #1 – I Quit My Job Before I Made Money
I only had a very part-time job but it was cashflow! When you start a home business, you need cashflow and all of a sudden I didn’t have it! I wanted to start my new lifestyle immediately and didn’t feel that I could fit any kind of ‘job’ into my new business. However, without cashflow, how was I expected to pay for my setting up costs and ongoing website hosting and advertising costs, not to mention that important thing called ‘eating’!
My LifePath Unlimited Mistake #2 – I Mucked Around First Before Working My Business
I met people for coffee. I started projects like sewing and gardening. I did lots of baking and dreaming. I mucked around and talked about what I was ‘going to do’ before I had actually done anything. Every little obstacle turned into a perfect opportunity to procrastinate, like getting on the phone and talking to friends, waiting for the washing machine to finish so I could put the clothes on the line, waiting until my tickly throat was 100% so that I could talk to prospects, waiting until my house was spotless, waiting until everyone left the house so I wouldn’t be distracted, etc. I didn’t take the word ‘business’ seriously in my ’LifePath Unlimited Home Business’.
My LifePath Unlimited Mistake #3 – I had the ‘Spend First/Earn Later’ Mentality
I got so excited about the income potential of the LifePath Unlimited business, that I found myself spending before I had made my first dollar. I used my credit card for this and that and slowly the debt started to creep up slowly and subtly. It takes a wee while to get any business up and running and this was another silly mistake!
When I finally realised that I was doing something wrong, I decided to seek out the successful people in LifePath Unlimited and watch what they did! Yes it really was that simple. What I saw was two things: FOCUS and ACTION. These successful leaders were very CLEAR about what their goals were and they took DAILY ACTION to get there. If you are saying right now, “I know that!” then good for you! You didn’t need to learn from me. However if I hit on some home truths, then that is okay. It’s now time to say, “Enough it enough! Am I clear? Do I love my LifePath Unlimited Business? What’s my goal? Am I taking action?” If the answers are yes, yes, yes, then I look forward to meeting you in the near future.
The ultimate way for me to earn a great living is to do it from home. The LifePath Unlimited business opportunity gives me the opportunity to help people who take action to create what they want. My long search included being a Mary Kay consultant, an Avon consultant and I even tried Amway! Then about five years ago I was introduced to The Secret, which really resonated with me. My father was always a very positive man and his influence really rubbed off on me. He used to say;
”There’s nothing you can’t do – and life is just too short not to try!”
I continued to search … I was doing contract work and in my breaks I was looking for ‘something more’. Again, I came across something that really resonated with me but this time there was a business attached to it! It was about Personal Development. I’m not someone who jumps into things, I do my homework and really shop around. So I shopped around and ended up joining a company called LifePath Unlimited – very much in the Personal Development field.
By the end of that year – I had had enough. I resigned and decided to go contracting – and then the recession hit. Despite this, the best thing I ever did was to leave my role – as the saying goes, when one door closes, another door opens. I had been there for four years and whilst the first three years were enjoyable, the last year had not been. So here I was in 2009, a single mum without work but feeling relieved to be out of a very stressful situation.

A Great Time With The LifePath Community
I have to say from the word go I was blown away by the community. The people are just amazing. I received incredible support and love from the community, all these people who had never met me but were there for me. The calls were just incredible. I started to speak up on the calls, felt really empowered and on top of this was developing virtual friendships – it was just wonderful.
I spent much of 2009 out of work – but the LifePath Unlimited community and the friends I made on line had a huge part in keeping me going. By the end of 2009 I started to get work – so in March 2010 I decided to go to Synergy in Sydney. Breakthrough
I asked the LifePath Unlimited community on Facebook if anyone going to Synergy wanted to share a room and a lovely lady who I had never met (Rae Merridyn) offered to share with me.

My Children
Just before joining LifePath Unlimited I had gone through a very stressful time. One of my sisters had died suddenly in the UK – we didn’t go over for the funeral but we arranged to go over for Xmas – a week before we were due to go my job was disestablished – great timing eh! With all this – my health began to deteriorate and I developed Menieres disease. My children and I travelled back to the UK to spend time grieving with family over xmas and returned to NZ – where I started my new role. I was still grieving over my sister whilst trying to learn a new very intense role and surprise surprise developed more health issues – on top of all this – I was getting bullied in my new role. With New Friends At Breakthrough Fiji
After Synergy I was on a real high and took the plunge and positioned myself at Breakthrough, that was so scary but so liberating also. Breakthrough was announced that it would be in Fiji – so close to home. I decided at the very last minute – a week before hand that I would go to Breakthrough in Fiji. I wanted to take my children (18 and 13) but for various reasons they didn’t want to come. I really didn’t want to miss out and was really torn about leaving my children behind but I made the decision to go. Then the decision was out of my hands – I was told it was sold out. Friday evening – I received notification from Joy Elizabeth in the States, that there had been a cancellation. OMG – I had to make a decision. It was so scary – do I go or not? I made a decision there and then to go on my own to Fiji for Breakthrough. What a rollercoaster !! ;0)
So I made it to Breakthrough in Fiji and met all these wonderful people – going without my children was so very hard – and I have to say – I really missed them. However it was a wonderful and a very cathartic experience, the rebar bending which I did with my wonderful friend Jacleen Allen who I met for the first time at Breakthrough. I also did firewalking with Jacleen and Rae (Synergy) and on my own. I can not tell you how good it felt! I also got to meet the Founders of LifePath Unlimited, Joe Neid and Dave Mackenzie.

Another highlight for me was – because I had gone at the ‘last minute’- they featured me on the Fresh Start Call – another very empowering experience for me – being interviewed by Rhonda Swan ;0)
Eighteen months on – I still love LifePath Unlimited – I can not tell you what it has done for me. I have been through so many challenges over the last few years. I can say without a shadow of a doubt – LifePath Unlimited, The Discovery Series, The Community – the wonderful liked minded friends I have met through LifePath Unlimited and of course MYSELF have got me through some very tough times.
I have learnt so much – I am such a different person now to the person I was beforehand and I just LOVE IT! I can honestly say there is nothing I cannot handle – there is nothing YOU cannot handle. If I can breakthrough, so can you!

CEO Family Man Ditches Stressful Corporate Life For A Direct Sales Business With LifePath Unlimited
I have another inspiring LifePath Unlimited associate guest blog post to share with you! Kim Schramm, from Queensland Australia, decided that enough was enough and escaped the corporate life for good to join LifePath Unlimited. This post is told by Kim’s wife, Vicki Schramm.
First Day with LifePath Unlimited - Vicki and Kim Schramm
It was towards the end of September 2010, that my husband and I both felt that life had to change and there had to be a better way.
Kim had been under increasing pressure in his role as CEO for a State sporting body. The sport is very political due to very little money and decreasing members. Hence, the blame game was a never ending component of the sport.
I was also working 2 days with Kim and 2 days for another company that had strong connections with the sporting body. We were both commuting to the office which was an hour plus each way. Kim’s role saw him working long hours for little return and zero appreciation. Effectively, our jobs were ruling our lives. There was no down time when we were at home. This affected not only us, but also our 2 daughters.
Without going into details, there was increasing sporting politics, along with betrayal and lies from a “so called” friend. Crunch time had arrived and it was time to reclaim our lives. The search began as we wanted to work in our own business. We knew the power of the internet was the key. We also knew; we did not want a shopfront, a traditional bricks and mortar business with stock, staff, overheads and all the problems that go with it.
Over a couple of weeks we searched and looked at several ideas. From the paid surveys to MLM companies, we looked but nothing “clicked”. Nothing felt right. Kim continued to search and eventually entered his details into a survey home business site. The following day he received a call from Rhonda Keenan from LifePath Unlimited and after a quick chat he was sent a link to watch a webinar. The business was LifePath Unlimited. We had never heard of it. I left him to it. He watched that night, and the following morning, he said to me, you have to watch this, I feel this is something we could do and make work.
Was I sceptical? …. Definitely!
So, I watched the webinar, whereby in the first 15 minutes I kept asking Kim, what on earth have you got me watching. He kept saying, just watch until the end. So I did, then he showed me another video, (which was as we now know, the funnel). Once again, he said listen to this couple, they lost it all and had to start again…they just sound so genuine. (Brian and Rhonda Swan). After that we did various searches on the net about LifePath Unlimited, LifePath Unlimited scam, LifePath Unlimited Review, all the usual investigations! We wanted to be sure this was a genuine company.
The follow up call with Rhonda came and she answered our questions and also arranged a 3-way for us. We then advised Rhonda we would get back to her within a week. In that week, we did a lot of thinking, looked at the business presentation many times, and came to the conclusion, this was something we wanted to do. We felt by buying Discovery, we only had to make 2 sales to get our money back, and also it came with a money back guarantee. We had nothing to lose.

So, there we were, off embracing a new business and community. What a refreshing change the LifePath Unlimited Community was and is. Coming from an industry of dishonest, pessimistic and unfriendly people to a community of like minded, embracing and positive “can do” people was a breath of fresh air and so welcome in our lives.
Overall, I would have to say so far, that the best thing about joining LifePath Unlimited has been the people. Even though the majority we have not met in person, there is such a sense of family not just in Australia and New Zealand, but around the world. I have connected and spoken to other LifePath Unlimited associates who I now consider friends. There are no judgements made of anyone. I know that we can ask a question and in no time there are others offering a solution. To sum it up in one word it would be “belonging”.
It has been a ride like no other. It has been a strong learning curve, from SEO’s, blogs, Facebook ads, twitter, website design, and of course the business of Life Path in general. We did the Discovery series, which made us question and look at many parts of our lives. We now look forward to the Breakthrough and Destiny events.

Today I am pleased to bring you a guest post from a beautiful member of the Life Path Unlimited team, Brooke Morrow. Brooke runs her Life Path business from her home in Melbourne, Australia. Brooke is a highly regarded and respected leader in our worldwide community of associates. My name is Brooke Morrow, and I would like to tell you how I found Life Path Unlimited and what happened when I did.
I had left my life partner 1 year before I found Life Path Unlimited. It was very difficult as I still loved him very much, however I knew that I had to follow through. He had experienced a very negative and abusive childhood, and it was still following him around. I knew that if I left, it might be the one thing that would lead him to a place to heal himself.
My daughter and I moved into a 2-bedroom apartment above a shopping strip, and I opened a small yoga studio in the living room. I could fit about 6 or 7 students at a time. I worked very hard for 1 year teaching as many classes as I could. Just making ends meet. My daughter was not very happy, she missed her father, her dog , her old neighbours and her old back yard. It was unsettling, however we tried to make the most of it.
One day I woke up and decided with my whole being that;
“there must be more to life than just existing from one day to the next”
I made a decision to change my life, and to take a new path. So I spent many hours on my computer looking for a business. I decided making money was going to give me the freedom to experience life at it’s best. Money had never been that important to me but things had changed.

It took about 3 months before I found Life path Unlimited. I answered an online advertisement and the very next morning I received a call from a fabulous woman, Holly Durkin. She was delightful. She listened to me and to what I wanted to change in my life. She said I was a great match for Life Path Unlimited. Boy was she right!
I joined up with Life Path Unlimited without skipping a beat.
I was overwhelmed with astonishment that I had found a company that operated in a way that was completely congruent with all my Yoga background. Everything that Yoga represents to me was present in this Global Company, Life Path Unlimited. I was exhilarated with enthusiasm and excitement.
I went to the Life Path Unlimited Synergy Event in Sydney that weekend and met Holly and many other members from the Life Path Unlimited Community. I was completely blown away with the event and the people I met. I was so happy to have a conversation afterwards with the co founder of Life Path Unlimited Dave McKenzie. He was such a gentleman, so easy to talk to, relaxed, happy and he was excited too, he had no ego what so ever. It was like he was there for the first time, yet this was his company along with his partner Joe Neid. He listened to me and was gracious and open. I tried to explain to him that, what I couldn’t believe was that Life Path Unlimited was completely holistic.
I can’t explain the energy I received from that event, I was literally buzzing at a higher frequency for weeks afterwards!

Since that weekend, I moved my daughter into a house with a garden and a swimming pool. I have a new car (my other one was embarrassing!). We have been on a one-month trip to Africa. We are living our lives in a constant state of abundance, joy and happiness. The energy and realisation of what’s possible has rubbed off on my ex partner, he has listened to Life Path Unlimited calls and products and has completely turned his life around. He is now the Master of his Destiny and so are we.
The day I spoke to Holly Durkin on the phone was the first day of the rest of my amazing life.
