How LifePath Unlimited member Estelle Gibbins survived near tragedy!

Today on the LifePath Unlimited Downunder Fresh Start Call (gosh that’s a mouthful!), I interviewed a special lady called Estelle Gibbins from Western Australia. What lead me to asking Estelle Gibbins to join me on this LifePath Unlimited call was one  word that had been floating around in my head all morning – ADVERSITY. 

Of course I knew that Estelle had experienced an unfortunate calamity in May and I wondered if she was ready to share her story with the LifePath Unlimited Community yet.  So I asked her and she said yes, she was indeed ready. Single mum Estelle Gibbins joined LifePath Unlimited early this year and was looking forward to taking her son Ethan to the LifePath Unlimited Destiny Event in Peru.  The pinnacle of LifePath Unlimited’s culture of abundance, prosperity, joy and celebration, Estelle and Ethan were going to experience 5 days of interaction with some of the most empowered, enlightened and successful people on the planet!  The bags were packed and they were literally a few days from leaving … excitement was high … then the unthinkable happened …

…… a drunken idiot driver hit Estelle Gibbins and her son Ethan while they were innocently riding their bicycles along the road.

All of a sudden Estelle and Ethan were not going to Peru.  In fact they were both lying in hospital beds.  Word got around that Estelle and Ethan would not be attending the Destiny Event but no one knew just how serious things were.LifePath Unlimited Estelle chose not to tell too many people the extent of her injuries,  she didn’t want any attention.  She didn’t want to take anything away from the excitement of the Destiny Event.  She had broken bones and her broken rib-cage was pressing into her lungs, puncturing them.  She had multiple respitory arrests and experienced flashes of ‘white light’.  

Just before the accident, Estelle had finished the 56 Days of her LifePath Unlimited Discovery Course and she credits The Path of Power to saving her life.  She constantly remembered to stay in her power and even though she was very unwell, she had the nurses help her set up her phone and laptop, so she could listen to her community on the LifePath Unlimited calls.  She cleverly kept it very quiet that she was in hospital while listening to these calls.An interesting thing happened while Estelle was in hospital.  She had a visit from a friend.  This friend had heard that Estelle had been in a terrible accident but was unaware that she had planned to go to Peru.  He took her a book  to read, that book was called ‘The Celestine Prophecy’.  The main character of this book undertakes a journey to find and understand a series of nine spiritual insights on an ancient manuscript in Peru.  It tells of his spiritual awakening as he goes through a transitional period of his life.  Wow …

Estelle and Ethan

As Estelle Gibbins was recounting the events around the accident on the Fresh Start call today, her voice broke as she told of arriving home and having to unpack her and Ethan’s suitcases.  How incredibly heartbreaking.  Suitcases that were full of exciting hope and possibility weren’t going anywhere. So after such adversity, I asked where Estelle Gibbins will go from here, what her plans are for the rest of 2011.   She answered that she has an incredible appreciation of the LifePath Unlimited Community and planned to continue be part of this wonderful ‘family’ of supportive people.  Her and Ethan plan to jet off to our company training event in Dallas, Texas in late August, followed by some more travelling in the USA.  Young Ethan loves monster trucks, so a monster truck show is on the agenda, then it’s on to the Lifepath Unlimited Breakthrough Event in Cancun, Mexico in December.

Estelle told us that she had to learn to breathe again … I am extremely glad Estelle Gibbins is not a quitter!  In the words of LifePath Unlimited Luminary Ellie Drake, “The power that made the body, heals the body.”
