CEO Family Man Ditches Stressful Corporate Life For A Direct Sales Business With LifePath Unlimited
I have another inspiring LifePath Unlimited associate guest blog post to share with you! Kim Schramm, from Queensland Australia, decided that enough was enough and escaped the corporate life for good to join LifePath Unlimited. This post is told by Kim’s wife, Vicki Schramm.
First Day with LifePath Unlimited - Vicki and Kim Schramm
It was towards the end of September 2010, that my husband and I both felt that life had to change and there had to be a better way.
Kim had been under increasing pressure in his role as CEO for a State sporting body. The sport is very political due to very little money and decreasing members. Hence, the blame game was a never ending component of the sport.
I was also working 2 days with Kim and 2 days for another company that had strong connections with the sporting body. We were both commuting to the office which was an hour plus each way. Kim’s role saw him working long hours for little return and zero appreciation. Effectively, our jobs were ruling our lives. There was no down time when we were at home. This affected not only us, but also our 2 daughters.
Without going into details, there was increasing sporting politics, along with betrayal and lies from a “so called” friend. Crunch time had arrived and it was time to reclaim our lives. The search began as we wanted to work in our own business. We knew the power of the internet was the key. We also knew; we did not want a shopfront, a traditional bricks and mortar business with stock, staff, overheads and all the problems that go with it.
Over a couple of weeks we searched and looked at several ideas. From the paid surveys to MLM companies, we looked but nothing “clicked”. Nothing felt right. Kim continued to search and eventually entered his details into a survey home business site. The following day he received a call from Rhonda Keenan from LifePath Unlimited and after a quick chat he was sent a link to watch a webinar. The business was LifePath Unlimited. We had never heard of it. I left him to it. He watched that night, and the following morning, he said to me, you have to watch this, I feel this is something we could do and make work.
Was I sceptical? …. Definitely!
So, I watched the webinar, whereby in the first 15 minutes I kept asking Kim, what on earth have you got me watching. He kept saying, just watch until the end. So I did, then he showed me another video, (which was as we now know, the funnel). Once again, he said listen to this couple, they lost it all and had to start again…they just sound so genuine. (Brian and Rhonda Swan). After that we did various searches on the net about LifePath Unlimited, LifePath Unlimited scam, LifePath Unlimited Review, all the usual investigations! We wanted to be sure this was a genuine company.
The follow up call with Rhonda came and she answered our questions and also arranged a 3-way for us. We then advised Rhonda we would get back to her within a week. In that week, we did a lot of thinking, looked at the business presentation many times, and came to the conclusion, this was something we wanted to do. We felt by buying Discovery, we only had to make 2 sales to get our money back, and also it came with a money back guarantee. We had nothing to lose.

So, there we were, off embracing a new business and community. What a refreshing change the LifePath Unlimited Community was and is. Coming from an industry of dishonest, pessimistic and unfriendly people to a community of like minded, embracing and positive “can do” people was a breath of fresh air and so welcome in our lives.
Overall, I would have to say so far, that the best thing about joining LifePath Unlimited has been the people. Even though the majority we have not met in person, there is such a sense of family not just in Australia and New Zealand, but around the world. I have connected and spoken to other LifePath Unlimited associates who I now consider friends. There are no judgements made of anyone. I know that we can ask a question and in no time there are others offering a solution. To sum it up in one word it would be “belonging”.
It has been a ride like no other. It has been a strong learning curve, from SEO’s, blogs, Facebook ads, twitter, website design, and of course the business of Life Path in general. We did the Discovery series, which made us question and look at many parts of our lives. We now look forward to the Breakthrough and Destiny events.

My only regret is we waited so long to take the plunge, however I also believe everything happens for a reason and this was our point in time to do this. I now feel at peace after so many years of turmoil. I cannot go back and change the past, however … I do know how wonderful it feels to discard the past and embrace the endless opportunities! Thanks to LifePath Unlimited, we have reclaimed our lives.
